DESCRIPTION :

This dish has raised sides & canted corners & is beautifully drawn on the inside with Cranes & auspicious Buddhist objects ,The reverse is decorated with Carp & Turtles.

The base has a spurious Wanli (Chinese 15th/16thC) six character mark as do so many Japanese Arita wares of the late 18th Century.

Condition: A small gold lacquer repair to one canted corner.
